Hi, i'm very new to zenoss and want to monitor a proliant server farm.
Right now I have net-snmp and the hp support packs (hpasm) loaded on all of
them. Net-SNMP is working, I see hostnames, file systems:total bytes and Basic newbie questions:
- How do I force zenoss to force a reload of its configuration data when I changed snmpd.conf?
- I've added 'includeAllDisks 95%' to snmpd.conf. But 'used bytes', 'free bytes', '%util' shows nothing.
- How do I get hpasm serial data, temperatures and power supply data in zenoss?
Can I have a step by step explanation of this?
- I want a graph of disk usage; how do I add this?

hp System Health Application and Insight Management Agents Package
The hp System Health Application and Insight Management Agents package provides extended capabilities to ProLiant Servers. These capabilities include monitoring of temperature thresholds, fan, processor and memory failures.
Should a parameter be out of normal operating conditions, the Linux operating system will be automatically shutdown.
The hp Advanced Server Management Application(hpasmd) is the interface to the Advanced Server Management (ASM) ASIC.
This application will work with both the ProLiant ASM (0x0E11A0F1) and the ProLiant iLO Advance Server Management (0x0E11B203) ASICs.
The hpasmd also provides an interface so other software can log events to the hp ProLiant Integrated Management Log (IML).
hp Server, Storage and Foundation Agents for Linux provide a full spectrum of management data. This package includes the Server Standard Equipment and Health Agent for hp Servers. This information is available using the hp Insight Manager Console, any Internet browser, or other management applications using SNMP.

This package contains data gathering agents that provide data to clients via SNMP. This SNMP data may be used by other hp management software. If you choose not to start these agents that data may not be provided. Answer 'y' to this question to start the base set of agents. You will be prompted for the more specialized Storage and Performance agents.

This configuration script will configure SNMP to integrate with the HP SIM and the HP System Management Homepage. The HPASM can also exist in a more secure SNMP environment (e.g. VACM) that you have previously configured. zaključak - šupica tach¶
ništa ja ovo ne kontam ..... ni šta podesiti na strani servera, ni kako to testirati je li radi (i šta radi) ni kako u zenoss-u podesiti to - iskoristiti zenpack
